Although we remain anxious to meet the needs within our community, "The Blessing" turned out not to be the best avenue to do that. We operated "The Blessing", a free soup kitchen, for about 6 weeks but witnessed very little participation from the needy. Therefore, "The Blessing" has closed.

We appreciate those who cooked food every day and those who came and took advantage of the free food.

We are now turning our attention to the school backpack program. We individually package and deliver food to be taken home by needy children on the weekends. If you are interested in helping or donating, please contact the church at 417-469-2709.

The first Saturday of every month area residents may come to the church and select clothing items for themselves or their families. These items are free. "God's Closet" will be open from 8-12 a.m. on the first saturday of each month. To donate, call the church office.
